Been a while
Been a while but im still around!
First update is on baby, im now over 6 months pregnant, and its certainly beginning to feel a lot more real now….especially when the baby is active and kicking and moving, which seems like the majority of the time. We’ve had a couple more ultrasounds now and more checkups, I even got to find out what my blood type is (A+ for those of you who are curious).
We also found out our baby is going to be a BOY! We also picked a name, first we did think about naming him Keith III, but Keith didnt want to have his son named after him and said he didnt like the name so we decided on Barry, after my dad. We told my dad too and he was overjoyed, I think we made a great choice and im really glad my dads proud of our choice and decision. My mum is still being “difficult” and not having much to do with me right now, its still although she believes we went ahead and decided to try and get pregnant, we didnt. The only thing we did was decide to keep our surprise baby, neither of us wanted to go with abortion or adoption and I think it takes a lot of guts to make the decision we did and im proud of our decision. Team Boubon!
Aside from that, baby Barry is doing fin growing well and is a marital arts expert in my womb. My little sister-in-law (5) came down to our room the other day with some cake “for the baby” I tried and failed to explain that baby was inside me and so told her the baby was too little to eat cake yet and that when the baby was old enough then she could give it some cake. She wasnt quite as happy about that as i would of liked and so left the cake on the desk just incase “baby might change his mind”.
was kinda cute.
We have also managed to solve the flea problem, we bought the (very) expensive flea spot on treatment called Advantage and its now 3 months on and I havent seen a single flea on any of our 3 cats, nor have i seen them scratching, biting or anything, so im hoping the problem is gone, will be keeping up the flea treatments now, expensive yes, but worth it? totally! I hate when animals are in discomfort and fleas are certainly discomforting! All 3 cats seem to be doing great, Gins got a burst of energy recently and has been running amok in the basement with the girls. We managed to stop them escaping from the room too and they found a sunny window spot to sunbath in during the day. All good in the kitty deparment!
We are also waiting patiently on the BOA (Bank Of America) to get in touch about a mortgage we are trying to get to buy a trailer home that Keiths grandma owns. Crossing our fingers we get it as its big, close by and on an acre of land. We ran into numerous problems, tax returns we had to adjust and sort out when mistakes where made, then the comptuer system at BOA went down, then it came back up and the new program they started using broke and so on….patience wearing a bit thinner now, but still we hope!
On top of all this, I got a job! Im a server (waitress) at a fancy Steak House Restuarant. Its right next door to where Keith works and we both start at the same time which is great. The managers are awesome, the staff are friendly and funny (especially the cooks!) and generally the customers are pretty cool too. The tips I make are pretty decent, and its helping with saving up for baby stuff we’re going to need, not to mention stuff we’ll need to buy if we get the house we’re after.
I was stressed when i first started typing, but now Ive got this far Im just tired, I just will add one very last thing…
I love and miss my family back home, I try to callt hem every week, but I havent been able to get hold of them the last week or so, hopefully this monday will be more successful. I also love and miss my HWG friends, Im sorry I havent been around! Ive been falling asleep the moment I get home from work, but I will make more of an effort.
And Keith….I love you very much and I couldnt ask for a better husband and father of my baby. Thankyou for being mine, Im sorry for being difficult or a pain in your ass at times, I say and do the things I do because I honestly think its whats best for you even if you dont agree, but even if/when we argue I still love you with all my heart and soul xxx
