Is it that time already?
No I dont mean its time to get up, nor go to work. Im refering to the fact that Christmas is just around the corner!
So for those trying to ignore it, pretend it isnt happening or hoping not to realise till its the 25th december….im sorry but its real, its coming and you better be ready!
So this year we are REALLY tight on money. Why on gods earth would property tax decide that December of all months is the BEST month to come around and bite you in the butt?
Seriously $240 property tax on our car….our car that is falling apart and we owe more on then it would probably sell for, why on earth did they create property tax….this is why the UK is in someways better then the USA…this is one of those reasons.
So more to the point, $240 out the bank for the taxman (or woman), then theres the normal bills, phone, car insurance, car payment, loan payment, medical insurance blah blah blah, it certianly leaves our bank rather dry.
We are scrapping through this christmas, im afraid its small cheap presents for everyone this year and as the family has grown (In-Laws etc), money has to go that little bit further then normal. Still we’re managing just about.
I wouldnt mind a month or more extra but I better get a move on to be ready this year. Plus…christmas is 2 days early in this household!
(it also means we’re celebrating christmas on our 6 month anniversary awwwwww!)
