Happy Easter!

April 9th, 2012 by PepsiChic

Easter was fun this year, Barry was only 8 months old last year and so we didnt do a whole lot as he was happy just crawling around and napping all day long.

This year, I did Roast Turkey for dinner and it was the best Ive made yet! I got some easter eggs and filled with them with snacks and put them in the yard, Barry had fun collecting them all and playing in the leaf piles. Barry also got a touch and feel Easter book, and  2 little bath toys.

While Barry napped me and keith settled down to watch a movie or 2 and munched on our easter eggs from my parents (thankyou mum and dad!), the afternoon we relaxed and played games had a late dinner and then bed time!

Lovely day!

Im sore all over though just about every part of my body aches but figners crossed its over soon.

The wicked witch

So the “witch” arived, and that means Im on to next cycle for next month.  Techincally this is cycle #7 since deciding we wanted another baby.  Disappointed as I had high hopes for this month and also the last month in which to conceive a 2012 born baby.  Still its not the end of the world (I’ll keep telling myself that) and Im sure next month we’ll be the lucky ones picked by mother nature.

Barry is still getting over his runny nose issue. We changed medicines and this new one seems to be working a lot more efficently,  It really helps clear out his nose and hes been waking less at night….just need to figure out why hed choosen to start the day 2 hours earlier then normal today!

We moved dinner time a little later so that we could eat together as a family and this seems to have made a difference with Barry, hes much more willing to try the food we have then what he would normally prefer to eat (pasta!), take Thursday for example, we made Steak Faijtas, with a lot fo onions and peppers, Barry loved them, had 3 helpings! so proud of my little munchkin!

Good news is, we made so much of it, I managed to freeze an additional 3 portions for him, and provide a large lunch for Keith on friday!

Full tummies all round!
